Hmmmm. I can't remember how it ended so I guess I'll have to go read MY book blog and see what happens :)
I just started a book by Alice Sebold called Lucky. It's her memoir and it starts out with her being raped and beaten by a stranger. I only got two chapters in before I switched to a different book. But because she's obviously been traumatized from her own experiences I wonder if that's why she writes books like The Lovely Bones.
