I loved this book. The author is a woman, about my age, who saw an Oprah show on the violence against women in Congo and decided to do something about it. She founded an organization called "Run For Congo Women" and in doing so, went to Congo to get a first hand look at what was going on there. This book tells the stories she heard while she was there and documents her trip.Interesting read for me, because I've taken up such an interest in the subject. However, I think any one would love this book. It is horrific and heart-breaking at times, and the real life terror that people actually have to live through is unbelievable. A real eye-opener for us, who live safely in our daily routines in the United States.

Lor - you need to put the author's name inside the post so I can look things up quickly :) I know I could just go to your labels but I always forget!
Oh...OK. I don't really put them in "labels" anyways, so that wouldn't do you any good.
I'm thinking about not doing this book blog now that I joined Goodreads. I can just comment in there and you can see. What do you think?
That would be fine to just do Good Reads. I'm keeping my book blog because I write mini-novels on everything I read :).
I just started this book today. I'm already so confused!
