This is a list of books I started that I didn't finish this week. As you can tell, I'm on a string of bad library check-outs.
Push - By: Sapphire - Whoa! The language in this book! I picked it up because I saw an interview with Tyra Banks where she raved about this book. It is being made into a movie called, "Precious". I read a small bit and then had to give up because of the language.
Say You're One Of Them - By: Uwem Akpan -- I just happened to be on the library website when I saw Oprah tell of her newest Book Club Book. So, I hurried and put it on hold. Lame! Read maybe 40 pages and gave up.
Black and White - By: Anna Quindlen - Boring. I couldn't get into this book nor the author's writing style after only reading 10 pages or so. Gave up.
The Book Of Ruth - By: Jane Hamilton - After reading Map Of The World by Jane Hamilton, I was hoping this was going to be anothe great read. I only got about 50 pages into it and decided to give up. Boring...and it just wasn't an "easy" read for some reason.

The only I've heard of is "The Book of Ruth" and I can't remember if it was from you or my other friend. I started reading one called "The Candy Wars" but I just gave it up for Jodi Picoult's "Handle with Care".
