Soy and Garlic Marinated Steaks

Ok, this is not a good first post for this blog...because it is probably a "bigger" recipe than I usually make for dinner. But, it's what we had...so here is the recipe (changed a little bit to my liking):
*******************************************************
1/4 C. balsamic vinegar
1/4 C. soy sauce
2 1/2 Tbsp. minced garlic
2 Tbsp. honey
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. Montreal Steak Seasoning (or black pepper)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke flavoring
pinch of cayenne pepper
2-3 steaks

Mix all ingredients in a medium size bowl. Place steaks in large resealable plastic bag and pour marinade in bag. Refrigerate for 1-2 days. Grill for 4 minutes per side or until done to your liking.
******************************************************

I marinated this steak for about 24 hours. I couldn't believe how tender it was. We liked it, but thought it was almost too marinated, so I cut the balsamic vinegar from 1/2 C. to 1/4 C. I think that will make it taste better.

My favorite kind of dinner! This is perfect for me because I'm always looking for more homemade marinades. I used a soy ginger on my chicken the other day and it was yummy, but it's like five times the cost to buy it ready-made.
