I have several hopes and intentions in starting this blog. First, it will be a good place to store and organize my recipes while sharing them at the same time. Second, I'm hoping I will feel more accountable with my "meal planning" efforts. I have to say, there are more days than not that I have that 4:30 question running through my mind...but, maybe I'll put more effort into it if I know I've got to get something posted here. Third, it will be an incentive for me to branch out and try new recipes. For years I have had this "box" in my closet that I keep recipes in.
When I come across one in a magazine I'd like to try, I tear it out and put it in this box. It has hundreds, if not thousands, of recipes in it just waiting to be made. I must say, recipe finding is one of my favorite past times...I know, I'm a dork. I LOVE to look at cookbooks and magazines to find new recipes! If there is a recipe you would like me to post on here, just send it to me by e-mail. I'll put it on and give you the credit. I am NOT starting this blog because I am a cooking guru or anything like that....just a Mom that needs to feed her family. And, I think it's always nice to share a good thing when you find it. So, enjoy!

That's funny you have so many cookbooks and even funnier to see so many pages clipped out.
I should take a picture of my cookbooks. We have quite a few . . . for not using them!
I know...the clipped out recipes are a little out of control. There is no order to them or anything. But, maybe now I will finally go through them again and use some!
Fun fun! I was thinking of doing the same thing even before my weight loss one, but now I'll just send you some of my faves and let you do the rest of the work!
